About Amy
SPECIALIST SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST
Amy Kirk
I provide an engaging and flexible approach when working with a young person. I work in collaboration with the key people in the young person’s life to establish a clear therapeutic plan and provide the best support I can, to allow them to develop their communication skills to their fullest potential.
I qualified from Reading University in 2006. Since then I have been working in East Kent in several settings including, early years clinics, specialist and mainstream schools. I’ve worked in both the NHS and independently. I’ve supported a range of clients from pre-school children to young adults, also working with key people in their lives such as parents, carers, and teachers. Through ongoing training and experience, I continue to develop my specialist knowledge and skills. I can assess and support children with a variety of needs, including severe and complex speech, language, and communication disorders.
